"Don Juan Tenorio Cómico"
Authors: José Zorrilla/ Mario Ramírez Reyes
Originally written by Jose Zorrilla in 1844, this classic theater play has been adapted by the writer and comedian Mario Ramirez. Don Juan Tenorio, a charming man that makes every woman fall in love with him, has decided to make Doña Ines, a young woman who is about to become a nun, his next conquest, but he will have to confront her father, another nun, and his worst enemy, before he can finally be with her. This hilarious adaptation puts Don Juan in modern Los Angeles California replacing the "hills filled with flowers" of the original Tenorio, with "hills filled with immigration officers." |
